Concerns and Notices
Paddle Manitoba is committed to advocating for the protection and preservation of waterways and the advancement of recreational and wilderness paddling. We seek to build partnerships with both government and non-government agencies while working toward shared goals. We encourage you to add your own voice too. Together, we can ensure paddlers are heard.

Manigotagan River Route Assessment - Campsites, Portages, Signage
Manitoba Parks is going to be conducting an assessment of campsites, portages and signage needs on the Manigotagan River.
The assessment will likely be done in the fall, with a goal of then making modest improvements (such as adding new fire pits or replacement signage) in 2026.
Do you have any trip notes or photos of campsites, portages or other issues from the Manigotagan that might be a useful resource for Parks to consult as part of the assessment process?
If so, contact Paddle Manitoba Representative Chris at mr.chris.randall@gmai.com
