Fun Paddles
Fun Paddles are an opportunity to get a bit silly on the water. Whether it's recognizing certain holidays or heading out when you're usually heading in, you can count on some laughs.
These outings are open to members and non-members, beginners to experts.
Participants must provide their own canoe, kayak, or stand-up paddleboard, wear an appropriate PFD or lifejacket at all times on the water, and bring the mandated safety equipment - a whistle, bailer, and throw bag (buoyant heaving line) and other necessary equipment, such as lights.
There is usually no cost to fun paddles, but participants must sign a Paddle Manitoba or Paddle Canada waiver.
Registration may or may not be required.
